The stars came out for amfAR’s New York Inspiration Gala last night, with an array of luminaries from the worlds of fashion, film and music, joining forces for a special cause. Each year amfAR raises millions for AIDS research and their legendary events are a place to see and be seen. With Marc Jacobs, Fergie, Hilary Swank, Scissor Sisters, a live marching band and the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders all vying for attention, the over the top atmosphere can be overwhelming, but its all in good fun.

Guests were treated to an additional flight of fancy during the evening’s star-studded charity fashion show, filled to the brim with the world’s finest male models. A series of chic looks were up for auction; everything from refined Tom Ford suits, outlandish Thom Browne pieces and barely there bikinis worn with panache by some of the biz’s best bodies. Athleticism was a theme of the evening, with Olympic legend Greg Louganis leading the pack as they made their way down the runway.
