Swiss-based architecture firm Herzog & De Meuron proposes to give the NYC skyline an interesting approach on residential buildings. Located on the hip area of Tribeca, 56 Leonard Street is a 57-story building with 145 apartments with many different floor plans and private outdoor space. With a sculpture commissioned to celebrated British-Indian artist Anish Kapoor at street level, it promises to turn a few heads in this ever-changing city.
