When celebrity chef Todd English comissioned the NY-based office Bluarch Architecture (www.bluarch.com) for his new venue in Manhattan he got exactly the expected: a fairy-tale-1001 Nights inspired interior brought to the 21st century hipster Chelsea district.
The subtle middle-eastern atmosphere permeates through the 510 m² space with mosaic mirrors, gold cladding materials, lacquered finishings and shiny Mediterranean-blue vintage tables. Interior disign tricks include double-layered moorish geometric membrane on the ceiling and black laser-cut sections creating an organic silhouette throughout the dinner hall.
The Juliet Supperclub (www.julietsupperclub.com) ia cosmopolitan version of a persian tea-house featuring top notch mediterranean cuisine.
