Absolutely love my Common Projects Achilles High. I dub them my “fancy sneakers,” and rightfully so as they feature exquisite craftsmanship and made from high-luxiourious leather. While they are associated as a more formal sneaker, the Common Projects duo of Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami have incorporated more colorful and casual footwear into their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. There still remains the staple shoes that are made of leather or patent leather, but clearly the addition of white soles, straps, and canvas material suggest a more playful direction for the brand.
