Globe-trotting designer Umit Benan has imagined a mischief-filled Cuban mansion as the inspirational setting for his Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Holed up inside, a squad of scruffy scoundrels spiff themselves up in saggy suit-pants and Scarface-inspired dinner jackets, having raided recklessly the closet of a thicker and much richer man. Mixing linen, jersey and crisp but crumpled cotton in a nautical-gone-naughty colorway, the kick of Benan’s Cuba collection is its contrasting connotations. love this !
