The ‘Cover Versions’ Art Project is one of the special celebratory projects from the 20th-anniversary issue of Dazed & Confused magazine. 20 classic Dazed covers have been reworked by 20 of today’s leading visual artists. From epoch-defining images of Kate Moss, Damien Hirst and Milla Jovovich, to Bjork and Eminem, each artist chose their own cover to re-imagine in their own unique way. The results are a playful homage to Dazed & Confused’s creative history.
Exhibition includes artwork by Marnie Weber, Aaron Rose, Hiro Sugiyama, Neal Fox, Tracey Emin, Dennis Rudolph, Terence Koh, Jonathan Meese, Mark Titchner, Julie Cockburn, George Young, Ben Sansbury, Jose Parla, Troels Carlsen, Misaki Kawai, Tim Noble & Sue Webster, Dawn Mellor, Eli Cortinas, Alex Peverett and Jamie Shovlin.
A limited-edition range of T-shirts, specially produced by GAP, and featuring five of the cover artworks will be on sale exclusively at Colette during this time.
