The Club chair has a limited release of only ten and is authenticated by an engraved polished brass plaque. Based on a classic chesterfield design, the buttons have been replaced with LED light fittings and capped with a fairground bulb casing. The frame was painstakingly adapted to be able to facilitate all 85 of the light fittings, but the upholstery needed to have the same classic style as an original. The lights are also on six channel phasing unit which means they are programmed to move in the same way a fairground ride would, they can also be programmed to be still. The piece is a juxtaposition of the very formal gentleman’s favourite with end of the pier entertainment. A familiar and iconic item all of sudden becomes very surreal.
Luminaire Bérgere Chair
This original antique Bérgere chair was found in a flea market in North Paris, and brought back to London to form part of this collection. The piece was left unrestored and then adorned in turquoise neon giving it new life but without forgetting its journey. This very unique and one-off piece has been authenticated with a brass plaque. This piece is now sold, however similar pieces can be commissioned.
Part of a limited edition of twenty-five, the Electric Louis is hand carved in Mahogany, lacquered to a high gloss finish and then adorned in neon, identified by a silver plaque .
