In his amazing series, entitled “Proposition One”, photographer Max de Esteban deconstructs obsolete technology products and photographs the inner workings, layer by layer, to create these amazing images.

”Propositions assemble the projects dealing with contemporary art issues through photography and video. Contemporary art, as most intellectual endeavors today, has its own narratives, languages and contradictions that often feel highly specialized and removed. These projects search for visual structures that raise questions and pull them back to the social and political.”

Biography

Max was born in Barcelona, Spain. He lived and worked in Palo Alto, New York, Madrid and London. In 2009 opened his first stable studio in Barcelona and since then focuses exclusively on personal project-based work.
