French duo Daft Punk, teams up with Japanese toy manufacturer Medicom Toy on BE@RBRICK versions of themselves. Coming in both 100% and 400% sizes, the French duo are outfitted in their Hedi Slimane-designed Random Access Memories costumes. The designer figures come in packs of two and are available now from Medicom Toy’s online shop.
This is a SCIENCE-FICTION saga created by Brazilian designer MARTIELO TOLEDO to print his own t-shirts collection sold in London and Tokyo since 2003.
Now the SCI-FI PUNK PROJECTS became a GRAPHIC NOVEL published in BRAZIL by DEVIR LIVRARIA.
The story was made after a collection of scientific discoveries on MARS, by NASA, since 1976 when was photographed a SPHINX on CYDONIA REGION mixed with the aesthetic of cartoons inspired by punk rock bands such as THE CLASH, RAMONES, SEX PISTOLS, and MISFITS ( comes from here the name of PUNK PROJECTS).
The focus are the SHAMANIC HEROES: EL ROSTRO DE CYDONIA, PHOBOS, DEIMOS, SCORPION KING and COWBOY PUNK and their psychic powers of cure and the hard mission to save the human being of wipe out provoked by an invisible extraterrestrial evil called SKULL TRANSMUTATION that comes from outer space with the ET’s RED HUNTERS. The evil changes the humans “VICTIMS OF FEAR” in horrible being with skull faces interested in body usurpation, dominion of mind and human soul.
The S.F.P.P. has the support of the United Nations (ONU) and co-operation of THE MARTIAN SECRET SOCIETY in New York City.
The members have their identities protected and wear leather masks with part of animals on it when they do a shamanism celebration in the AMAZON FOREST, Brazil, where they reloaded their psychic power of cure.
Their motto is “GOD SAVE THE HEROES AND THE VICTIMS OF THE FEAR.”

Medicom Toy is preparing to present in October 2012, a VCD (Vinyl Collectible Doll) version of the legendary Andy Warhol. The 23cm tall vinyl figure comes in two different versions, ‘Normal’ and ‘Silkscreen.’ The first is a cartoon version of the man with interchangable hair and a banana, while the second is a figurine of Andy’s famous silkscreened self portraits.
