America’s quintessential quarterback Tom Brady poses for the lens of Mario Testino on the cover of Fall’s VMAN 27, on sale August 23. Styled by Carine Roitfeld, Brady plays dress up in Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, and more alongside a playful and possibly vicious Doberman Pinscher.

Speaking of Tom Ford, the designer and director sits down with the cover star to discuss among other things, his more sensitive side not often shown on the field.

“I grew up with three older sisters and I have a very sensitive mom and a very sensitive dad,” Brady tells Ford. “It was an environment where people weren’t afraid to express how they really felt or to express their emotions. I’m very blessed to be able to do that because with my two boys—I kiss them a thousand times a day. My wife and I are very affectionate, it’s just part of our nature.” vman.com
