Luxury fashion house Valentino enlists perfumer Olivier Polge to create a new masculine scent that will be launched at the beginning of 2014. The new fragrance, named Valentino Uomo, represents the brand’s vision of classic fragrances for men, and has been created with exclusive essences and fine materials, in order to create a stylish composition for a contemporary man who loves elegance and good style. Treasured inside a glass bottle covered with Valentino’s signature pagoda-shaped studs and decorated with a logo-engraved golden plaque, Valentino Uomo opens its olfactory structure with bergamot and myrtle, that fade on a heart of roasted coffee and gourmand gianduja cream. A base of cedar wood and leather reinforces the scent’s composition, giving a strong and masculine vibe to the whole structure. The advertising campaign has been shot by photographer David Sims, and to embody the new scent, the brand enlisted French actor Louis Garrel.
